with video. >> reporter: frank and michelle, that gushing water actually slammed into the scaffolding of the building behind me. you can see that damage there. you can see part of the beam has been bent in and that's why the roads are blocked, because authorities are right now trying to assess if that scaffolding i safe. video from earlier shows gushing watertown 40 feet high. water at up to 40 feet. they were trying to pull over a driver for a minor traffic violation, he fled and crashed into a hydrant causing the water break. police took the driver into custody suspected of dui and we don't know at this point if the driver sustained any injuries. back out live, essex street off folsom is blocked. if you are going to the bay bridge, you have to find a different route. a firefighter said that they are going to assess the safety of that scaffolding and once they find out it is safe they will reopen these roads hopefully that can be soon. reporting live in san francisco, cate caugiran, cbs 5. >>> an on-ramp to the bay bridge is closed not making many morning commuters happy. >> no. not

. everyone is shocked about the loss of the much loved and valued colleague. >> nbc's michelle kosinski is live. what else have we learned about the victim? >> not much. the hospital said that she worked there at king edward the hospital for more than four years. she cared for hundreds of patients. but that's really about it. the hospital isn't even saying the manner of death but according to reports here in the uk, multiple sources say she took her own life and was found on the hospital premises this morning. they tried to revive her but unsuccessfully. the hospital interestingly said that they have been supporting her through this difficult time and telling us that she was having a tough time. we don't know exactly why or what else was going on in this woman's life. but it appears that she did commit suicide on the grounds of the hospital. anyone else who worked with her but people described as stunned, that the news is staggering. one of the things that this prank phone call really highlighted, aside from the fact that it was a breach of security, was the kindness and unsuspecting na

to the convicted killer of hayward parsons didn't michelle lei. a jury convicted as does l pass the bonn in october of killing way. the 26 year-old michelle lei was missing from a hayward hospital parking lot in may of 2011. searchers discovered her badly decomposed remains in the canyon four months later. prosecutors say as the bomb killed michelle lei over france up she had with the father of s the bonds daughter. as the house lawyer and said she was the kill was done in the heat of passion. in 1901 is fighting for her life this morning after seeing a member found bound and gagged on a san francisco street. the victims were discovered on a 900 block of russell street around 830 sunday night. both were alive when there found the man later died of the hospital. according to police the women's injuries are life-threatening. no one has been arrested and the victim by the attendees have not been released. >> the stabbing of a 14 year-old boy happened on saturday and a walkway behind a nearby tech museum. the victims sought help at a carnival cross the street from the christmas and the park. police as
